Fit and chic for Christmas: Swimming keeps you slim in winter

Christmas is just a few weeks away. And whether we're celebrating with family or friends, we want to cut a good figure. Because at this time of year, between Christmas and New Year, most of us dress very chic.

To get in shape for your festive attire, you can choose from many fitness programs. But if it's too cold outside and too sweaty in the gym, swimming is simply more fun. And in the pool, you can also do exercises that put less strain on your joints and back. This is because your body is buoyant in the water and doesn't feel the force of gravity as much as on land.

If you start regular swimming training now, you will definitely be able to tone your body and improve your metabolism by Christmas. And aloe vera can also help you do this. This is because the gel from the leaves or the juice that is made with it also supports your metabolism. To achieve a good effect, however, you need to swim for at least 45 minutes several times a week. With a little determination, you can do it! In the beginning, it's all about developing a routine. Just like using aloe vera in your everyday life. And then, at a certain point, you'll even really enjoy it.

After swimming, you should apply nourishing aloe gel to your slightly dry skin and hair. As you probably already know, you can get this from the large 4-5 year old aloe vera leaves that you can order from our store. Sun-ripened on our organic plantation in Greece, these leaves contain many vitamins and vital substances.

A little tip from us: mix up a nice DIY aloe vera cream. It's a bit more practical in the swimming pool than the pure leaf gel. We always show you how to make creams and other cosmetic products in our Aloe Bits newsletter. Here you can subscribe

And on our FB and Instagram channels you will also regularly find cool tips on how to incorporate aloe vera into your everyday routine.
